I’m a graduate of Western Carolina University with a B.S. Degree in Communication with a concentration in Broadcasting and a minor in Japanese studies. I wore many hats with everything I did on campus. I was the General Manager for the broadcasting club WHEE-TV Catamount Entertainment, the TV Studio production assistant for the communication department, an equipment manager for Western’s football team, the photo editor for The Western Carolina Journalist, and a photo contributor to The Western Carolinian. I’ve been doing photography for almost a decade now. I mainly do sports photography, but I also do event, landscape, wildlife, and portrait photography.

I want to work in live video production, be it live music, sports, Esports, or things of that nature. Being an audio mixer, director, or camera operator. I also want to continue doing photography as a freelancer.

My journey into the field of broadcasting started in high school, where I interned with New Hanover County Schools Television; I learned a lot about producing multi-camera news. Then, I joined the club that would eventually become WHEE-TV during my first year of college and ran the audio board for almost all our productions. Now that I’m in a leadership position in the club, I work directly with our members to teach them how to make multi-camera productions and ensure things go smoothly.
